Welcome to Kintore Highland Cattle. We're situated in the South Wairarapa District, just over an hours drive from Wellington where we farm 115 acres with a mixture of standard sized and miniature Highland Cattle.
 2011 Show Season
On 29th October 2011, we kick started the 2011 A & P Show Season showing Hugh of Kintore, Mr Ali of Kintore, and Fergus 2nd of Kintore. All 3 bulls won their respective classes, with Mr Ali going on to become Champion Lifestyle Bull and Fergus 2nd being Reserve Champion Lifestyle Bull. Hugh kept collecting ribbons, and came away with Champion Beef Bull, Supreme Champion Beef Animal and finally Meat & Wool Cup Supreme Champion.
On 15th August 2011, Kintore had snow, which is pretty suprising considering we're only 60m above sea level. Discussion with the older neighbours indicate that the last time the district had snow like this "some time in the 1930s"
